Subject:help!

hi,
i have just been trying to install OS3.5 on my parents 1200
but after the pre-install the computer will not boot so i
booted from floppy and added SKIPROMUPDATES scsi.device to
setpatch, but still no joy, it boots fine if i use setpatch from my
3.0 disks but then it will not let me do the full install.
i have os3.5 on my system and had no problems with it apart
from the 68040 lib.

parents amiga:
a1200 rev.1.d.4
zappo pcmcia cd-rom
apollo 1230/40MHz
8 MB fast ram
